Our brief was to breath new life into a family home, working with much of our clients existing furniture while introducing colour, pattern and texture through new upholstery, window treatments and soft furnishings.
A wonderful triple aspect apartment on one of Notting Hill’s prettiest streets. What started as a consultancy project to tackle the design of two bathrooms turned into a full refurbishment. Working closely with our client who had a strong vision for her home, the brief was for every room to evoke something of her travels around the world.
This Victorian property had been home to its previous owner for over 30 years. With good bones, plenty of natural light and a well-maintained interior, it called for a considered, light-touch refurbishment rather than a complete overhaul.
The project focused on refreshing the principal rooms with paint and wallpaper, alongside new carpeting, creating a fresh backdrop for the clients’ eclectic collection of art and antiques.
A more extensive renovation, including the kitchen and bathrooms, is planned for a later stage.
